This guide is to help orientate you in the new space and share with you some tips to ensure your stay is even more comfortable and to help you feel at home. It should cover most of the questions you might have, but please feel free to talk to one of your Community Managers or anyone from the Heden team to assist with any queries.

Heden is located in close proximity to the beautiful Lisbon Cruise Terminal building – near Santa Apolónia train station. The ground floor is a restaurant and gastro bar by the famous Portuguese Chef Marlene Vieira.

How to get there?
Bicycle
Our Santa Apolónia space is located along the bike lane that runs through Lisbon’s waterfront and we have a bicycle park available right in front of the building, ready to receive your bikes right after a tour around the riverside.
Public Transport
We advise all our users to use public transport - either bus, metro or train. Each one has a stop less than 10 minutes walking distance from Heden.
Santa Apolónia is a station that receives trains from all corners of Portugal. Visit it!
Car Parking
If you need a car space, please talk to the person in charge of your office or one of your community managers to find out more. Additional public parking is available next to the Terminal as well as in front of Lux Frágil, only a few minutes walk from Heden.

About the Space
Your team’s workspace within the building is denoted on the below diagram. Your specific desk allocation should have been communicated to you by your HR or Manager, but do not hesitate to reach out to one of our Community Managers if you have any doubts or questions.
To use the printer, please ask your teachers to help you.
All kitchen equipment is ready for your use, so make yourself at home.
Flavoured water, fruits, tea and coffee are always available in the kitchen area.
The coffee station should be very intuitive, but if in doubt Joana will be happy to help making the first essential cup.
As a coworking space, some areas of the building are allocated for shared common use by various companies and members.
The kitchen, lounge and terrace areas are all to be enjoyed by all.
Comfort & Productivity
Our space has been designed to provide a pleasant, comfortable and efficient experience for everyone. We are located in one of the most temperate Mediterranean climates and our building takes full advantage of this fact. A bio-climatic facade regulates the sun, the heat and the wind and provides a naturally comfortable work environment most of the time, without the need for mechanical ventilation or air conditioning. This keeps our indoor environment pleasant and healthy with a constant supply of fresh air – especially relevant in pandemic times.
On very hot or very cold days, we do make use of our air conditioning system. Please speak to one of the Community Managers if your space needs any regulation.
Circulation & Safety (COVID-19)
In Heden, your safety and comfort are our priority, so in order to ensure social distancing, the tables in the common areas are properly signposted/divided and signposted indicating the flow of circulation has been arranged along the space to indicate the correct path to take.

Wi-Fi & Connectivity
Your team has a dedicated symmetrical 1GB network which is accessible across the whole building. In case you experience a temporary speed bump after relocating within the space, allow a few seconds for your device to automatically switch to the nearest Access Point, if that takes too long, please try to switch your WiFi off and back on.
